悉尼音乐学院爵士萨克斯专业介绍_课程设置

爵士萨克斯专业的学生们与澳洲知名爵士表演家一起学习，并接受即兴演奏，合奏等训练，目的是为了让每个学生达到高水平艺术修养。小班化教育可以让学生们最大程度和每位老师接触。除了定期参加大师班课程和客座教授表演课程（最近邀请的老师是Aaron Goldberg和Jim Black），还有学院专家导师每周指导专业课程。爵士音乐商业技能课程还为学生们准备了未来职业生涯非音乐方面的技能。

（1）Instrumentalists including drummers – Please upload a video recording of you playing two of the following 4 tunes using the provided play-a-longs as your accompaniment. Please play the melody and a 2 chorus improvisation, total of 3 choruses. Tunes list:

·I Love You (Cole Porter) key: F major ;

·All The Things You Are (Jerome Kern) key: Ab major;

·Someday My Prince Will Come (Frank Churchill) key: Bb major;

·On Green Dolphin Street (B. Kaper) key: Eb major.

（2）Scales：Please upload a video of you playing the following scales ranging two octaves:

·E major; Ab melodic minor; Bb harmonic minor.

·Scale routine: Ascending and descending firstly as crotchets, and then as quavers at the same tempo.

（3）Arpeggios：

·Please submit a video of you playing arpeggios of 7th chords of the Bb Major key centre: chord ii; chord iii; chord vii; chord V

·Please submit a video of you playing arpeggios of the following chords: C min-maj7th, Db diminished 7th and D augmented dom7th
